Sweden Anybody?
I had almost lost faith in the power of democracy when this happened. Sweden has recently legalised looking up ladies skirts.

ADDING to its reputation as the most sexually liberal nation in the world, Sweden has just legalized looking up ladies' skirts!
In a nearly unanimous vote in the Swedish Parliament, the motion was carried 332 to 17. To celebrate the new law, the Parliament's second floor was replaced with a see-through glass floor, and women were invited to stand on the floor, wearing their loosest, widest skirts, with or without underwear. Men were invited to bring their cameras, stand on the floor below and look up.
"I was fully aroused for the next three weeks," gushes male viewer, Tor Lundgren, 24.
The women standing above the men were no less enthusiastic. "It was even more exciting than I'd imagined," reveals Christina Schollin, 32. "I chose to wear no underwear, and, well, I just felt this electric thrill run through me as the men stared up at me. I may just leave my underwear home from now on."
Lutheran minister Gunnar Bjoernstrand, 40, has made peace with the new law. "It was just a question of time before it became legalized. And, really, something harmless like this should not be a crime. Sex and the body are beautiful, natural things.
"When we appreciate and adore the body by looking up ladies' skirts, we are, to a certain degree, giving thanks to the creations of God, who after all made us in His image."

How about a peep into the gentlemen's pants? (I bet guys would be very much delighted?) The world is never fair on ladies. I think the next we would hear on the news might be strikes on Women's Rights. One question remains: What rights are we talking about here?
Rights for the women to look into the guys' pants? Or rights for anti-exploitation / abuse of women?
It's not funny at all, our morale is deteriorating.

erm, whose rights are you talking abt? Both parties are willing, aren’t they? Soon you will be protesting against the missionary position coz the woman is under the man?

Laughed a lot when I read this piece. Cant blame them if sex forms such an important part of their lives! :) But really, is the parliament so jobless ?!
The important thing to note here is that men do all this anyway, but now they cant be blamed for it!! Which is why, it's a one-sided law. Not because its wrong to look up a woman's skirt but because, there is no protection for the women who consider it an outrage. Laws have to be objective and neutral.
The article quotes a couple of women who think its a turn-on but that's media's portrayal of a political move - not necessarily the truth (which we may or may not know, so no point debating about that).
wen: And no, its not a question of woman's rights to peep inside a man's pants - come on, why would women want to do such stupid things, and celebrate equality?!
iyer: The both parties willing should be a statement for two individuals, but such a behaviour made legal covers all women and its definitely not funny! As for the missionary position - nothing beats that! ;) Where else can u find the man do all the work and let the woman enjoy ?!
There are a lot of illogical feminists out there, fighting for equality while it should be equity and fairness that they should fight for. As for the morale degrading - it has been degrading for a long long time now, we just know of allthe shit as we now have media. Agree with wen though, pitiful state. But then again, its the same shit everywhere!
